I have only put about 10 hours tops into that game due to the fact it requires an internet connection. It annoys me when I see sound bites like this. Games with an offline mode mean I can play the single player/ campaign or against the a.i. No internet access at my house.

This seems like a totally sensible approach that suits Blizzard and me as a player.
It says they're disabled, but if you reconnect to Battlenet later, it'll give them to you if you qualified for them offline. We're really sorry for the hassle. And the bad thing about it is - a lot of customers not only seem to not care about it . … they even support it. Its an issue because it was a promised feature, no always online for single player. You won't have a completely offline LAN, but that's not essential for most of us these days.
