You probably won’t need it, but it’s best to be safe. in the end I installed "classic menu"..then, the menu came back. The Start Menu started working again after I rolled it back past a Chrome update. When it finishes (which will be a few minutes) try hitting START button and hopefully your Windows 10 START button will be working now I certainly hope this fixes your problem This thing has eaten my computer alive and Microsoft still advertising on TV.
