- Image backups created, don't want to go through such a long process again.
- When I first started investigating this issue heavily a few months ago, the fix I found involved installing MS13-080/KB 2879017, which was released in October 2013.

Thanks again. It was fu.ing windows update. one of them is a local process and the other is a network process. Windows Xp Svchost High Cpu Clicked on it and showed an update for "Windows Genuine Authentication" download.
